First Blog, First Post

Hello All,
Actually no one, considering this is my first post EVER.

I recently deactivated by Facebook...again. I felt the urge to. I felt too out there, too public. And, I spent way too much time looking at other people and their nonsense. Don't get me wrong, I still have CharityBash's Facebook to stalk people from, but I tend to keep that one on a more professional level ;)

Yes, this blog will be public. Who knows who will look at it, if anyone, but it may be just what I need--a less cluttered outlet to share my thoughts and findings. And it may be what other people need too--a place to find out about events, fundraisers, nonprofits, social good, ideas, heart warming stories, and sad stories-- all the things that make me tick.

I try to live by CharityBash's theme, Fun You Can Feel Good About. To sum it up (or to make it more complicated), living your life to the fullest, but leaving the world a better place than when you found it.

I'm not perfect, no one is. But it's worth a try.
